Winter Trap League
The Carroll County Gun Club hosts an annual Winter Trap League, beginning mid-November and running for 10 weeks, usually breaking around the holidays. The club's largest annual event draws many shooters from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas.
Registration (sign-up) begins at 8:00 am, and shoots start at 9:00 am. Registration cut-off is 2:00 pm sharp.
A Practice Trap is open from 8am - 2pm.

Any snow cancelations will be added to the end of the league. Don't forget our NEW YEARS DAY 100 target handicap shoot!
League
Format: 25 Singles and 25 Handicap
Handicap yardage is determined by a shooters recent Winter League or Heart of MD yardage, ATA yardage, or shooter's known yardage.
Earned Yardage Scale:
- Highest Score earns 2 yards
- Second Highest score earns 1 yard
- Third Highest Score earns 1/2 yard
