You must shoot at least 8 weeks to be eligible for League Trophies and Prizes.

 CASH PRIZES – 4 drawings will be drawn from all shooters who shot all of the 10 shoots.

CASH PRIZES – 5 drawings will be drawn from all shooters who shot 8 or more of 10 shoots.

We will continue an Over-All Lewis in lieu of a Banquet.

Due to the unstable shell situation and the inability to estimate attendance, we have lowered the Guaranteed Lewis Pot to $1,000. If attendance matches the past few years, we will go back to the $1,500 Pot. Checks will be sent after the Lewis has been compiled.

You do not have to play the Lewis during the Winter League in order to be eligible.

You must shoot at least 8 weeks to be included in the overall Lewis. 

Year End Yardage Group Trophies will be based on the shooters established handicap at the beginning of the season.

Example: Joe starts at 19 yards and earns 3 yards during the season, if he has the highest score in the 18-19 yardage group,

he will win the 18-19 yardage group trophy, even though he ended in the 22-24 yardage group.

NOTE: NO SHOOTER MAY WIN MORE THAN ONE TROPHY

Cash amounts are based on a minimum of 1500 shooters total league attendance, awards may

be adjusted according to final attendance. You must shoot at least 8 weeks to be eligible for League Trophies.

 DAILY TROPHIES – ($20.00 to weekly winner.  $10 to weekly yardage group winners.)

NOTE – If snow cancellations occur, make-ups will be added to the end of the season.

Trophies are subject to change, if average participation drops below 125 entries per shoot.

ROLLING 50 STRAIGHT POT Starting pot $4,313.00. Payout will be 80% with 20% starting next pot - $2

Shooter must pay the $2 entry fee the week he/she runs 50 straight to win.

PRACTICE – 25 TARGETS………….$6.00

 

HANDICAP YARDAGE RULE** – Initial yardage will be 2 yards off shooter’s established CCGC Winter League ending yardage.

You must shoot at least 6 weeks the previous year to be eligible for the yardage reduction.

Shooters without an established CCGC WL yardage will be  2 yards off  longest Handicap yardage in any league, OR known ability,

(i.e. Southern, Tri-State, Heart of Maryland, Winter League, Carney, or A.T.A),

A temporary 20 yards minimum for new shooters

Any shooters signing up after shoot #3 will shoot their normal yardage with no reduction.

Shooters shall be classified from 18 to 27 yards. Erroneous classification will result in disqualification and forfeiture of awards.

(Proper classification is the shooters responsibility).

 

EARNED YARDAGE:      

High Score Each Shoot Earns 2 Yards

2nd Score Each Shoot Earns 1 Yard

3rd Score Each Shoot Earns 1/2 Yard

  

Winter League Rules

 

1) All Shooters will follow the ATA rules and regulations, unless otherwise noted above.

An ATA rules book is available at the club.

2) Winner of the league and yardage winners, including high handicap are not eligible for yardage reductions.

3) Shooters earning yardage the last week of previous year will receive reduction after adding yardage earned.

4) After the 3rd week, no reduction will be given; longest known ability applies.

5) No make-up shoots will be allowed.

6) Shooters are responsible for making sure you are properly handicapped and categorized.

If it is found that you shot from the wrong yardage, all entry fees, score and winnings will be forfeited.

7) Shooters are responsible each week for any earned yardage punches, rule #6 applies.

8) Shooter is responsible to check your scores after each post and before leaving the trap.

(Corrected targets not marked with the word DEAD will be counted as a LOSS. No exceptions).

9) Once the score sheet is received in the office no scoring corrections will be made.

Wrong totals due to miss count, will be corrected in the office.

10) You must shoot at least 8 weeks the previous year to be eligible for the yardage reduction.
